Is it just me, or have you put the kibosh on mushroom regeneneration?  I'm actually dying for the first time on level 1/2 of the dungeons, as I have not enough healing objects, nor enough money to buy any....and not enough to buy recalls, sometimes. I'm lucky to find one mushroom occasionally, when I used to get three every time....the last couple updates were exciting in some regards, as I like sound and music....but the gameplay I loved seems to be disappearing.  This was my 'perfect foil' to Pixel Dungeon; it's an incredibly difficult game (yet addictive as can be!), as it's based on pure luck.  No strategy, or anything of the sort.  If you randomly generate the right gear/buffs, then you may make it past the first boss.  I liked going between the two, because I get so frustrated in the other, and I could actually relax, enjoy and not grit my teeth...yikes....

No, I haven't changed mushroom generation.

Which class are you playing? I find that the Warrior is the easiest class until you start running into casters that constantly try to run away. But even with the warrior you need to be a little bit careful and sometimes actually run away or use a scroll of recall.

Since there are no major bugs nor graphical issues anymore,
I guess it's time to drop some tiny feedback on gameplay:

I absolutely LOVE the Wizard now! The spell damage feels
spot on, with the most mana-consuming ones being really
devastating, while the character itself is still very fragile and
with lowest Defence+Speed from all the classes recquires the
player to stay alert. Awesomness.

If you remember the sprites from my avatar, know that you're awesome!

I'll echo that the wizard is very fun to play and has the perfect amount of danger. Once I figured out that I needed to watch every step and not just charge around the dungeon I started making real progress (and still die a healthy amount). Still, I will eventually beat the game as a wizard

Hiya; yeah, playing a warrior.  Figured out the problem:  dropping useless and unsellable items on the forest level will negate mushrooms.  Dropping them in the dungeon...well, may negate some item or monster regen, not sure...but I can live with that..  :-)  So, no more dropping the tickle wand, goblin mask and spare bone pile up top!  When I did eventually collect them and drop them below, it actually took some time for the mushrooms to regenerate normally again...but it did happen.  Whoops!

*ahem*  My bad.   :-[
