I tried installing the desktop version and can't seem to be able to use my keyboard.  All I get is an error sound, no matter which key is pushed.  Running on an iMac under OSX 10.8.3.

Hmm, odd. I tried the latest version on my Mac and it works. Anyone else having problem with the latest desktop version?

Gah, I kept forgetting about messed up push message bug, and now it got
fixed. I didn't see any note about other quirks I meant to report, however,
so here they go:

When equipping an item with mana bonus, it adds to current mana. When
removing it, or dropping (a Wizard's Staff) cos of Disarm, it substracts from
current mana as well.

Ah, and another thing is chests and traps getting generated in the doors
sometimes. The game gets a bit confused with default "open" action - one
can only disarm these traps (or trapped chests) after the doors are closed.

And finally, when using a long list of menu entries, like when configuring
keys or selling items - the list resets the view to the top of the screen on
every use. I'll try to describe it in more detai:
Say I'm assigning a key to "Show quickslots" command. I scroll the list
down to the entry reading "Show quickslots", press the "center/select"
to enter the "input key" mode, the game jumps the view of the commands
list to the very top, even tho the "selection bar" is still at "Show quickslots"
far far beyond the bottom of the screen. Now when I press the key that I
wanted to assign to that action, the list is still stuck at the topmost entries
and to get back to actually seeing the selection bar I have to press UP.
(Pressing DOWN would also work, but by slowly nudging the list, while UP
resets the list to proper view - that is with selection bar in the middle of
the screen, instantly). I'll make screenshots if this is unclear.

Also, regarding lists, someone has already mentioned this, but while lists
(items, menu entries, conversation options) loop from top to bottom, they
don't loop from bottom to top. That is, when having a topmost option or
item selected, pressing UP key will jump to the bottom of the list, but it
won't work the other way round, that is jumping to top of the list when
being at its end and pressing DOWN.

P.S. Other issues mentioned in different threads, and a new one:
- Questgivers can be attacked and killed by Dungeon's denizens.
- Doors and furniture can no longer be destroyed by heavy weapons/Allies.
- Small heal that was granted upon descending a level is gone. The info
about little prayer is still there, just no HP gain.

After verifying and repairing permissions and updating java I still am unable to use my keyboard on the desktop version.  There was a strange case of the game registering one selection higher than I clicked in menus, but that is now gone.

I've tried out the Goblin Mask recently and got to say it's one most fun
items in-game. It also has some interesting quirks with summoning:

- When an ally is summoned in Goblin disguise, it is created in "good mode"
that is hostile against the enemies and the Player. It will attack the Player,
but after hitting it back, it switches to "evil mode", just like when summons
get angry. In "evil mode" it will be neutral towards Player in disguise and
all other "evil" monsters. When the player removes the mask, the ally will
stay in "evil mode" and become hostile again.
- In "evil mode", allies will attack questgiving NPCs (in the dungeons only).
But this is tied to questgivers being valid targets for monsters in the most
recent version.

Fun!

Yeah, the goblin mask is funny, but I foresee a lot of weird situations. Still, it's a cool item and I can think of some nice special quests that you can do if you have the mask (access a Goblin vendor/npc for instance).

I have solved the issues with the list. I'll release a new version later tonight.
