Welcome Lily! This is the correct place to discuss translation issues.

Dweller does not allow for super advanced translations that guarantees grammatically correct sentences in all languages. Could you please try to describe what's wrong with the "Quiver x10" translation?

First of all, sorry for my english. I wasn't practice for very long time.  :)

I just wanted to explain how word's end changes depending of number.
It changes like this:

0 - колчанов
1 - колчан
2,3,4 - колчана
5-10 - колчанов

Sorry,if you know it.
Maybe previous posts are very old and you found the answer for count changes of items.
But this is my idea.

And so about some features in translation:
-Tonight I'll reply here what's wrong with "Quiver x10" translation (In my previous reply I wrote my answer for previous discussions, my suggestions)

-When you pick up item "Chainmail" on english it looks good - "You pick up chainmail" but on russian - "Вы подбираете Кольчуга". It is not correct with our grammar  :). I propose this type of text when you pick up the item : "Вы подбираете предмет : Кольчуга" (You pick up item : Chainmail).
Maybe it is very bugged but I will think about it on a days.

-In "Options" menu two parameters are not translated : "Music ON/OFF" & "Hide/Show message log". Why is it so? :) It  is not so important but it a part of translation.

I will post my ideas  and reports here with act of their appearing.  :)
My music makes me feel free & makes people feel melanholic and depressive.

I write metalcore & electronic music. :)

That's how I'm doing it in polish translation, Lily.
Same goes for kill message ("You have killed an enemy: Goblin.") and many more.
If you remember the sprites from my avatar, know that you're awesome!

As Mateusz writes it is not possible to get perfect grammar in many languages and his and your proposed solution is good. I'd be glad to add you as a translator and make the necessary changes if you like to help out?

If you think it's better to write "You pick up item: Chainmail" in russian then I need yours or one of the other translators help to change this. If you're willing to do it then please register an account here: http://gengo.com/string/p/dweller-1/dashboard/

Once you've registered an account and I have added you as a russian translator you will have access to the translation and you can make the necessary changes.

<entry key="ITEM_QUIVEROFARROWS">@0Quiver of Arrows@1|@0Quivers of Arrows@1|a @0Quiver of Arrows@1|the @0Quiver of Arrows@1|the @0Quiver of Arrows'@1</entry>

This is part of the XML file :)
What's mean every "Quiver of Arrows"?
Is it name changes because of count of it?

@0 gets replaced with any prefix that the dagger might have (eg Knightly, Slow, Deadly) and @1 gets replaced with any item suffix the dagger might have (eg of Fire, of Poison)

The five different versions of each item are:

Singular (used in the inventory list)|Plural (used in the inventory list)|Singular indefinite (eg "You see [a Dagger]")|Singular definite (eg "[The Dagger] begins to glow")|Singular possessive (eg "You dodge [the Goblin's] attack")

You cannot send me the XML file. I need the changes to be made online. But if you tell me which texts you want to change (for instance ACTION_PICKUP) and the translation you suggest I can make the changes for you (provided there ain't too many changes)

Lily, that's actually a great idea, and I am sorry if you said this, Mateusz, and I didn't see it.
This might solve a lot of our problems with grammar. (I don't even know how to translate
'падеж' to English - this is the problematic thing, the 'form' of a noun) Nice trick!
