What about the fix for rooms getting generated with extra
wall tile at top-left corner sometimes?

BTW, I'd like to hear your thoughts about the adjusted dodge chance after you've played the game a bit. You should see fewer enemies dodging your attacks.

howdy.  i just cleared the labryinth and there was no minotaur at the end....i've never had this happen before.  Should he be there always?  Or did something change?  Thanks.

I had the same situation some times before. I entered the portal and went down to second level of labyrinth again, and the minotaur was always somewhere on the map.

The Minotaur isn't just sitting in his chamber for quite
a couple version now, he's always roaming around.
Might be that he stepped on a teleport trap and thus
ended up in one of the corridors you've already visited
or simply passed you unnoticed (behind some wall).

Try a couple potions of clairvoyance in different spots,
chances are you'll find him stuck somewhere. There
should be no reason for him not to be created. Only
way for him to really dissapear without getting killed
somehow is being pushed into a Portal - this instantly
disintegrates any non-player creature.

I did a test and the minotaur does indeed step on a teleport trap from time to time. Unique monsters will ignore hidden traps in the next version to prevent this.

I went back in, found him, and quickly defeated him for trying to hide from me!  lol. Thanks guys for the info.

i like the fact that every game is not the same -leave in the possibility the Unique NPC can be anywhere on a level -adds to the fun -
