Android fullscreen, sounds
« on: February 02, 2012, 11:07:43 AM »
It would be nice to have an option to set fullscreen mode in Android version. There is status bar visible at the moment.
Also it would be fine to add some basic sounds in game.

Good idea with the fullscreen mode. Added this to the feature list: http://dweller.lighthouseapp.com/projects/88670-dweller/tickets/60-add-a-fullscreen-option

On the topic of sound: I guess it would be cool to add, but it must be done well to avoid the sounds from becoming annoying. If anyone is willing to contribute sounds to Dweller please let me know!

Can a third size tile (half way between lager & small) option be added for android -large tiles don't show enough screen and small tiles are very hard on eyes after a while.  ;D

Not only on Android, but also on j2me.

I think better variant is an option to set different sizes for tiles and on-screen controls(D-Pad and icons) - small tiles won't hurt, esp. if d-pad is enabled, but small controls are hard to hit.

I agree with you. I plan to separate the scaling of tiles from the scaling of UI components: http://dweller.lighthouseapp.com/projects/88670-dweller/tickets/132-separate-tile-and-ui-scale

Sound is always annoying, music is also a problem. I love this soundless game.

As for the fullscreen, my screen on Galaxy Pro is a little tinier than the in-game screen and I suspect it is because of the notification bar of my cellphone. The newly added EXP bar doesnt show completly. It is half hidden in the botton frame.

I think the entire xp bar is visible on your device, but it's thin and the text is aligned with the top of the bar and not the bottom so parts of the text will end up below the bottom edge. I'll fix this.

Looking close at it, you seems to be right. The Exp bar is complete (since the botton side of the Exp bar is clear) but the numbers are the ones that are moved since the bar is so thin the numbers do not fit correctly.
