i think an autolevel or something should be given for going through the training quest... I've personally only done it once and that was recently... if i knew there was a free lvl or nice exp bonus I would always do it.

Was thinking it would be nice to throw up some status indicators somewhere.  I happened to think of this while i was poisoned recently.  Each move my character makes is followed by that green puff which right now is the poison attack being made.  sometimes it hurts sometimes not but I was thinking this animation only really needs to be made when the poison has effected the character and maybe a little status icon somewhere to show you're poisoned might help to streamline things a bit... It's just that I notice that including the green puff animation effect with every move can greatly reduce the speed of the game... Making it only appear when you're actually hurt would help kill some unnecessary game operations wouldn't it?

oooooh how about a post death offering by the game to continue in debug mode?  I'm normally anti-cheat/debug mode in these games but for the sake of dweller and the desire to see what could have been I would play on in debug just to see what kind of weird things you can do.

Gold actualy CAN be enchanted, generating a completely unusable
1 gold. Repeating the process over and over on a gold pile creates
multiple stacks of worthless 1 gold in inventory.

I've been running into some performance issues.  Seems like the gameplay is slowed down or choppy to me.  I've had this issue both just starting the game normally and as well as playing after optimizing(deleting) tasks and services.  I've noticed this happen before but lately it seems to have gotten almost unplayable... I'm tempted to push harder on the screen... we all know how that goes.

Its a little bit shitty luck and a lot bit impatience... seems I overestimate my really good chars and get them killed via lynchmod and the rest of my chars just don't seem to get a chance to live up to their potential.  Gameplay is MUCH MUCH more thought worthy now.  I have to really think out most moves and when you're shootin the poop with friends and not totally paying attention wizards get dead.  I actually really do enjoy the difficulty anymore but I'm at a point where I have to shift from my older playing style to one more attuned to this less and less forgiving game.

I guess you meant speed?
Besides, the worst thing is not character speed but the fact that
spellcasting currently takes 250% of time used up by other actions.
Since you're another person who has noticed how deadly this has
become, chances are growing that Bjorn will readjust casting
speed to match other actions. I sure pray he will!

EDIT:
Thankfully this casting speed has been changed to 150%, wee!
I've lost a loooong line of wizards without a win for what seems like months now.  I think it's been at least a month since the last time I even got one down into GK's mancave.  I like the difficulty but now that gold has become even more scarce Dweller is closer approaching the difficulty level of such classics as Nethack and Powder.

I just had an idea for each boss where a short little animation plays with the little dweller character killing the boss in some simple already implemented graphical way... kinda like the little skits that first appeared in Pac Man Jr.  Yup... I remember that game as having one of the first "cut scenes" ever.

Poll would be cool for this.  I'm kinda curious myself.  One thing to consider though! Anybody that knowingly seeks out and downloads a game that's described as being a rogue-like will surely have tons of dungeon gaming experience and already know which class they want to play.  Three of the major arch-types are the range the wizard and the warrior... I think I've used the warrior maybe once. Same goes for the ranger.  Coming into the game I knew I was going to pick the wizard.  In most MMo's tho I normally start with a ranger/archer first and then move on to magic users. 

Anybody else already know what class you were going to choose before hand?

I think an overall +10 limit would be cool with some sort of added "item turns to dust" risk that raises exponentially with every enchant... this way players will want to enchant their artifacts but will also do so at their own risk.  Adds to the satisfaction of actually getting items to a certain point and would make for some interesting bragging rights.
