Oh, now I get the joke.

Dweller Discussion / Re: Is there a "best" Dweller version?

As long as the Dweller crisis remains unsettled, you should try Red Wizard. It uses the same sprites and tiles like Dweller. It is a nice little game with random dungeons. However, the dungeons are so random, once you climb up a level and go back down again, there will be a different environment. The goal is simple: Get from the lowest underground level up to the surface. Permadeath. Nasty curses and stuff. But I like it.

Pixel Dungeon was too hard first, then they made it playable, now there are so many editions out there that I have lost my interest in playing any of it.

I don't know the version but from late 2013 to early 2014, Dweller had its hayday in my opinion.

That's some nice environment. I'd love to see more "outdoor" rooms in a bigger size, like 20 x 20, which are randomly put together just like the current dungeon rooms. Would be cool to have roads and villages and stuff like that.

1. Pixel Dungeon is a good lot too hard.
2. Not a quarter the effort put into Dweller was spent on Pixel Dungeon.
3. Because this is the Dweller forum, not the Pixel Dungeon forum.

Feel free to play whatever you like, there are plenty of games out there. I like Red Wizard, for example. Or Andor's Trail, which is of epic proportions for a mobile game. However, I suggest you quit hating on Dweller, though. There's no point in judging a game that's going to be in development over and over and calling it "dead" just because in its current phase it isn't as flawless as previous versions. People like you drive the developer into saying "F*** it all" and make him quit.

If you don't like Dweller I don't understand why you're still here. I'm loyal to this game and I am old enough to have my own opinion. If you're looking for a Chevy, don't walk into a Ford store. No offense, just sayin'.

Your argument is invalid, Sir.

Remember that you cannot enter a portal, if you have any flying equipment on you.

I'd love to have more powerful vampires. After they attack, the number of hitpoints they've taken should be taken away completely from your total hitpoints. For example: You have full health, in this example 40 HP. The vampire hits and takes 3 HP. Now you have 37 which is from now on your maximum health. He hits again for 5, now your maximum health is 32. Until you increase it again by levelling up. Would make the vampire more, er, vampiry.

I'm looking at the one Jesusgeorg recommended. Currently I play Red Wizard with the Oryx set. It's simple and sometimes unfair but entertaining.

What you do with the Dog whistle, the Magical Catnip of Mateusz, the Horn of the Warrior and 6 Bags of Monsters?
Your personal Army of Doom :-)

I love that!

Are you sure you have the latest version on your phone? I had the same problems once (HTC One). Go to your apps menu, STOP Dweller and clear the cache, then try again. Make sure you select "Quit Game" everytime you stop playing. Just taking off by home button might cause the game to crash, too. There is still a community and there is still some development in progress. Keep checking this forum once in a while to get the news.

BTW, I think it's a good idea to "sell" Dweller for a donation or something. I would gladly do it.
