Ideas / Ranger items

A few ideas for unique ranger companions.
Honey Jar. Summons a bear, slower than a wolf, stronger than a wolf.
Conan's Bridle. Belonged to famous steed of the ranger girl Wendy. Summons Conan, a battle donkey, which always follows behind character, will attack an enemy who attacks the character, and can carry almost as much as the character. High attack, mid defence, low magic, low speed, and slows character down.
Granite Chunk. Glows with foul shifting colours. Summons a golem or living statue. Mid attack, very high defence, very low speed, resists magic.

Just been thinking about some different items. The gauntlets of power: these huge green boxing gloves belonged to Jarl but were stolen by Shelley and used in her pursuit of power. They have been long thought lost to history. The gauntlets count as a two handed weapon. They can stun enemies. They can knock enemies back. They can hit twice. Medium to high attack, low defense, low magic, medium to high speed.

Bjorn, you legend. You certainly fixed the difficulty problem. I went from winning almost every game i played to struggling to get past dungeon level 3. I love it.

Ahoy. How about adding a potion that grants a temporary speed boost? It could also negate the slow effect.

Ideas / A way of extending the game

This is an idea i had while grinding through a long bash with the goblin king. I deliberately bait him out, get him to spawn as many enemies as i can, teleport him away, kill em all then do it all again. How about a way of respawning the actual dungeon levels? So i can happily explore some more before being forced to finish the game.

How about a spell or item that allows you to move through walls? Maybe only one or two spaces? Alternatively, a spell that lets you destroy walls? Or a gaseous form potion?

Ideas / Allies

Now that the ranger's dog and the charmed monsters thing seems sorted, what about adding other allies. Some could have specific uses, some could fight. Maybe even quest related. For example, a minstrel could charm even more critters, a thief to pick locks and disarm traps (which could be harder to remove), an apothecary. Familiar for the wizard?

Ideas / Wilderness dungeon

How about a set of wilderness dungeons and quests? The map could be like the upstairs area, but more extensive and with more foes (giants?). And, more than just rats to hunt. Could also have a few new friendlies, like the trader/healer, eg: witches hut for potions.
