Does fire do damage to the hero for every turn the hero has? I play archers and it seems like they die almost immediately when on fire. Unless archers are extra combustible...

I kind of like not knowing when I'll encounter the Minotaur.
To be true to the maze concept, the player could be stuck in the maze until they find and kill the Minotaur.
 And the Minotaur could be lurking anywhere....

Blindness trap or a monster attack that blinds.
You lose the map and everything goes black except the square you are on.

Wands. I just sell them. Need to be more powerful and less available.

Bosses are weak. They could use super powerful multiple-turn attacks: 'The Lich King Raises His Scepter." "The Lich King Casts Mass Life Drain."

No need to tell me when I am standing on a tree.

The forest doesn't need to random generate. It just makes finding those three mushrooms annoying. A nice, boring square forest would be appreciated.

Unless you could make other treasures hiding in the forest. Then that might be fun...

I don't understand why items dropped in water everyone can walk in disappear.

Why is there lava on early levels? Are we near hot springs or a volcano? I think lava should only generate on lower levels where it doesn't instantly kill you as you try to get that leather cap from the chest at the end of the lava.
 
More enemies need to teleport and/or heal. Especially vampires and black mages.

Maybe if he could at advanced levels. So, once your magic power gets above 0 then you can equip and use spell books? So you can dual class if you choose to increase your magic.

I'm accumulating a lot of gold at the end of the game with nothing to spend it on. Anyway to bump up the merchant's stash as your character grows in levels? Scrolls of Enchant regularly available for purchase would be great.

Yep. That's what I do . I trap the dog between me and the locked wood door. Usually works like a charm. Anyone else having trouble with this?
